At The Healing Threads Wellness Collective, our programs and services support mental and emotional well-being through creativity, reflection, and community-centered care. Each offering is designed to help individuals slow down, regulate stress, explore emotions, and reconnect with themselves and others—at their own pace.

 

Our work honors lived experiences and recognizes that creativity can be a powerful pathway to emotional awareness, grounding, confidence, and growth.

 

Our services are organized into Weekly Programs, Workshops, Curriculum, and Events, allowing participants to engage in ways that fit their needs, interests, and availability.

A Note About Our Programming:

 

While we are in the process of securing a physical location, The Healing Threads Wellness Collective is currently offering mobile and on-site wellness programming throughout the community.

 

We collaborate with schools, senior centers, and organizations to provide accessible wellness and creative engagement opportunities, and community-based resources and information for individual seeking additional support.

🌱 Weekly/Monthly Programs

Our weekly and monthly programs provide consistent, supportive spaces where participants can build routine, relationships, and emotional balance over time. These programs emphasize connection, play, reflection, and shared experience.

 

Weekly programs are subject to change to reflect community needs, creative flow, and seasonal offerings.

🧘🏽‍♀️ Mindful Mondays

Mindful Monday: A Gentle Community Living Room

​Mindful Mondays is an open, welcoming space to begin the week with clarity, ease, and intention. Guests are invited to slow-down, relax, and engage at tier own pace-whether through conversation, quiet activities, or simply resting in a supportive community setting.  

Session includes:

  • Supportive one-on-one conversations 

  • Quiet activities such as beading, journaling, creative materials, and quiet reading with books and magazines

  • Access to wellness and community resource information

☕ Tea Wednesdays:

Tea & Threads: A Sensory Wellness Gathering

Tea and Threads is a relaxed, welcoming and intentional tea tasting experience designed to nourish the senses and invite connection. Each session features a guided tea tasting experience paired with a simple creative or reflective activity designed to encourage presence, storytelling, and connection.

 

Session includes:

  • A welcoming check-in

  • Brief reflection on tea, wellness, or cultural traditions

  • A guided tea tasting experience (with non-tea-options available)

  • A simple creative or thread-based activity (beading/handwork)

  • Calm Supportive Closing with takeaways and access to supportive community connections.

🎲Social Saturdays:

Community Play

A Weekly Community Program for Emotional Wellness & Connection

 

Community Play is a relaxed intentional gathering that supports connection, self-regulation, and mindful engagement through board and tabletop games. Activities are chosen to encourage patience, focus, emotional awareness, and conversation in a calm, fun, and welcoming space. 

Session includes:

  • A welcoming check-in

  • Small-group board game play

  • Optional reflection through conversation, journaling, or creative prompts

  • A calm, supportive closing

  • Games may include Jenga, Chess, Pictionary, Uno, Pick-Up Sticks, and other intentional games that support emotional regulation, focus, and connection.

 

 

 

🎨 Workshops

 

Our workshops are guided, theme-based experiences offered as one-time sessions or short series. Workshops focus on specific aspects of emotional wellness, creativity, life purpose, and community connection.

Bead by Bead: A Path to Wellness

Bead by Bead is a hands-on creative wellness workshop designed to support emotional regulation, stress relief, and intentional self-reflection through the calming practice of beading and threading.
Participants engage in a structured yet gentle creative process that encourages focus, patience, and emotional awareness while creating a meaningful beaded piece. By slowing down and working bead by bead, the workshop supports grounding, self-expression, and connection—both inward and within the group.
 
Each participant creates a beaded item they can take home, serving as a tangible reminder of intention, reflection, and care.
This workshop supports participants in:
  • Regulating emotions through repetitive, mindful movement
  • Reducing stress and mental overwhelm
  • Building focus, patience, and present-moment awareness
  • Exploring intention and personal meaning through creativity
  • Strengthening emotional grounding and self-connection
 
What participants can expect:
  • A welcoming, non-clinical, trauma-aware environment
  • Clear guidance and structure with flexibility for individual pacing
  • Choice-based participation and opportunities for reflection
  • A completed beaded piece to take home as a lasting keepsake

Life Purpose & Creative Reflection

Life Purpose & Creative Reflection is a guided, non-clinical workshop designed to help participants slow down, check in, and explore what matters most to them in this season of life.

Through reflective and creative practices, participants are invited to explore values, goals, dreams, and personal direction in a supportive, judgment-free environment. Rather than focusing on having everything figured out, this experience emphasizes awareness, presence, and meaningful connection to self.

The workshop integrates vision boarding, guided reflection, photography, and interactive activities to support clarity, confidence-building, and authentic expression. Participants are encouraged to engage at their own pace, honoring choice and individual comfort while remaining open to insight and discovery.

This experience is grounded in the Healing Threads philosophy — recognizing that purpose is not rushed or linear, but woven over time through reflection, intention, and connection.

This Workshop Includes:

  • A gentle emotional check-in to support self-awareness and grounding

  • Guided vision board creation focused on values, goals, and personal direction

  • Reflective prompts and journaling exercises

  • Photography used as a confidence-building and self-representation tool

  • Interactive reflection activities that encourage insight and conversation

  • Optional opportunities for sharing and listening

  • A calm, supportive space that honors individual pacing and choice

Art Therapy Free Play: Creative Calm

Art Therapy Free Play is a guided, choice-based creative program designed to support emotional well-being, self-regulation, focus, and self-expression through art-making.

 

Participants are invited to explore a variety of art materials and choose the form of creative expression that feels most comfortable to them. Facilitators provide gentle guidance and support, assisting with materials, offering encouragement, and using colors, textures, and creative choices as tools to help participants identify and express their inner state, while honoring each participant’s pace, choices, and creative process.

 

The program emphasizes process over product, creating a calm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where participants can explore thoughts, feelings, and emotions through creative exploration.

 

Art Therapy Free Play can be adapted for all age groups, with activities and materials adjusted to meet participants

📘 Curriculum: Creative Connections

 

Creative Connections is The Healing Threads Wellness Collective’s structured curriculum designed to support mental and emotional wellness, self-expression, identity exploration, and community connection through creativity. 

This curriculum offers structured yet flexible learning experience that integrates emotional awareness, reflective practices, and hands-on creative exploration. It is intentionally designed to meet participants where they are, honoring choice, pacing, and diverse ways of engaging. 

Creative Connections is a non-clinical, trauma-aware, and grounded in the understanding that creativity can be a powerful tool for reflection, regulation, confidence-building, and connection. 

 

The curriculum integrates:

 

  • Emotional check-ins

  • Hands-on creative activities 

  • Guided reflection and group discussion

  • Choice-based participation that honor individual pacing and comfort

  • Group dialogue that encourages listening, empathy, and shared learning

  • Community Health Worker support and resource connection when appropriate.

 

Creative Connections supports participants in:

 

  • Building emotional awareness and regulation

  • Exploring identity, values, and life direction

  • Strengthening confidence and self-trust

  • Developing communication and connection skills

  • Fostering a sense of belonging and community connection

  • Providing accessible tools participants can use beyond the program

 

The curriculum can be adapted for:

 

  • Youth and school-based programs

  • Community organizations

  • Small groups and extended series

We collaborate with community partners to offer creative wellness gatherings, workshops, and events that foster connection, reflection, and care. These experiences are designed to be welcoming, culturally responsive, and accessible.

 

When appropriate, programs may be supported by community-based guidance to help participants feel grounded, supported, and connected to additional resources.
